Golf

Traditional stroke play. The original skill-based wager.

How it's played

The rules

The objective

Complete each hole in the fewest strokes possible. Lowest total score across the round wins.

Stroke play scoring

Every shot counts. Penalty strokes are added for lost balls, water hazards, and out-of-bounds. Combat Golf events use gross score unless the host enables handicap-adjusted net scoring.

Pace and conduct

Players keep their own card and verify a partner's. Disputed strokes are settled by the host before the leaderboard is locked.
